Rosa Melendez-Nguyen

Ms. Melendez-Nguyen has over 17 years experience with the School Health Services (SHS) Medicaid Program including Outreach and Enrollment support and services. She is a Board Member of the Pupil Assistance Fund, supporting low income DPS families; a member of the National Alliance for Medicaid in Education (NAME); and a member of the SHS Stakeholder Forum, representing the Metro Denver Region. The SHS Stakeholder group reviews policies, guidelines and information relevant to the SHS Program.

Rosa is a DPS alumni, graduating from North High School and attending Emily Griffith Technical College. She has worked for DPS for the past 17 years and currently serves as Supervisor for the Medicaid Department, managing their SHS and Outreach & Enrollment programs.

Activities, hobbies and interests: I enjoy spending time with my family, getting out in nature, and photography.
