Ms. Holder received a Master of Public Policy and a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver in 2025. Prior to grad school, she was the Sr. Program Director of an eating disorder treatment center managing treatment program operations and providing her with a unique insight into behavioral healthcare.

Over the past 2 and a half years Kalysta has supported operations of Student Health Services for Colorado’s largest school district, improving and developing more efficient systems for working with contract staffing agencies and supporting district-wide student health related purchasing. She has also contributed to the School Health Services Medicaid Program at DPS by strengthening tracking systems, enhancing financial analysis, and improving overall reporting accuracy and effectiveness. She is a member of the National Alliance for Medicaid in Education and has experience working with nonprofits in Colorado.

Activities, hobbies and interests: Cooking, exploring restaurants and parks in Denver, spending time with friends, reading a variety of fiction and non-fiction books, watching documentaries.
